19, Taste of Newport

Taste of Newport is coming September 17 - 19! Bands performing include The Gin Blossoms on Friday, Foreigner on Saturday, and Pat Benatar on Sunday. There are over 30 restaurants and 15 wineries this year offering gourmet selections and premium wines. A Newport Channel Inn staff favorite, The Five Crowns Restaurant, is back serving excellent Prime Rib sandwiches and Crème Brulee. Besides lots of great food, wine and music, the 3-day festival is also a fundraiser for local charities. The live entertainment is included in the admission price with food and beverage pay-per-taste. Besides the headliners, several bands play each day. Get there early to claim a spot near the stage.
